Turtle Days is the oldest continuously running festival of Indiana held annually in Churubusco (Turtletown USA) celebrating the legend of "Oscar the Turtle" the "Beast of Busco".
2014 we celebrated the 65th Churubusco Turtle Days FestivalTM.
In an attempt to provide the festival with better amusement rides, the board voted to break with the traditional third Wednesday in June and moved the festival one week earlier, June 11 - 14, 2014, in honor of the hunt for "Oscar" which began in 1949.
The four day festival was filled with contests, vendors, concessions, music, games, rides, fireworks, and many activities for the whole family.
Thank you, to all that helped make this year's festival one to remember, by getting involved, sponsoring, or participating in the celebration.
The Turtle Days Board voted in
