PROCEEDS OF TURTLE DAYS ASSOCIATION EVENTS SUPPORT
THE CHURUBUSCO TOWN PARK
Turtle Days
Turtle Days is one of the oldest festivals of Indiana held annually in Churubusco (Turtletown USA) celebrating the lengend of "Oscar the Turtle". The festivities this year take place June 18-21, 2008 with some kick-off events on June 14th. We have rides, concessions, vendors, music, and many activities for the whole family. Our rides at Turtle Days are provided by the Burton Brothers. Gather the family, come visit us and enjoy.
If you have pictures from past Turtle Days you would like to share; please e-mail us and we will feature them on our web site.

Just the Jist
During the short week of the festival we will have an opening ceremony, live bands, nightly raffle drawings, karaoke contests for children and adults, a talent show, nightly bingo, car/truck/bike show, merchants, food and craft vendors, amusement rides, a trap shoot contest, garden tractor and pony pulls, horseshoe tournament, youth sporting events, beer tent, bar-b-q cook-off, parade, all-u-can eat fish and tenderloin dinner, pancake and sausage breakfast, chicken bar-b-q, and much much more. We have a day just for the kids, with games and *turtle races. On the final evening the annual Turtle Days Parade will feature floats, ball players, color guards, cheerleaders, classic cars, trucks, bikes, animals and that is just to name a few.
*The Turtle Days board would like to ask that if participating in the turtle race on kids day that you please do not bring any endangered turtles*

We strive to have something for everyone so if there was an event you really enjoyed or an activity you would like to see next year please stop by the information booth and fill out a comment card.
